Help

Here is a picture of the hotel. I'm on the fourth floor with a view of the woods out my large window.

We have a bit of a crisis. The WISC-IV cognitive test was not in the case that was given to me today. Soooo I will have to use the WJIII Cog that I have not used for about a year. Please pray I get up to speed quickly. Also pray that the test is found in Budapest and returned tomorrow night so it can be given to a girl who needs the scores from that test alone to apply for a special program.

The day or days of travel went well. I made all the connections and met up with all the SHARE folks at the airport in Vienna. I was glad to begin to share the road with friends. The Jet Zone homeopathic tablets worked well and I am not feeling very tired at all (Thanks Don and Bonnie). I did pick up a little sore throat on the flight and could use prayer for wellness and especially for me to have it not interfer with my seminar tomorrow at 3:00 (6:00) am Pacific time. Today well had a worship service and then introduce ourselves. There are about 50 people on staff here - each one is a specialist of one kind or another. Our goal is to help the American families coming to the seminar to know how to educate their kids, who are bilingual, the best way possible in the country in which they live. I have been overwhelmed with the need for the skills I have. I'm glad to be of service and amazed that there is such a need. I can't do it all myself so I instantly requested team work. So there are 9 of us working together. I can do the testing but I need people from the area and educational experience to help with best intervention to recommend. I will spend the rest of the day looking over my seminar, organizing the testing, and conferencing with those that I will be teaming with. Best to you all and thanks for all you prayer support. The picture is Sopron as we drove through town.

A Learning Adventure

I have come to the conclusion that there is no way to be completely ready for such a trip as I'm taking. There are too many unknowns and I'm not a good one for all the details. Roger, who is good at details (sometimes annoyingly so :-)) pointed out to me last night the on the way home I have a 10 hour lay over in Amsterdam. I had not noticed. But I have discovered that there is a hotel at the airport. So since I will be arriving at 10:30 at night and leaving the next morning at 8:00, I can get a reasonable room for the night. I've decided to call this leisurely travel. I don't have to get up too early for any flight and I have time to make all my connections. Lots of time.

So this morning I am packed and have taken care of most everything I can think of and I have an hour to go. Oh what shall I do with myself. I guess I'll clean house. Blessing to you all and thank you for your financial support and your prayer support. Without you I would not be doing this. May the Lord bless you as much as he blesses me.

Getting ready

Today is Wednesday and I have gotten everything ready to be packed. It has been challenging with the every changing requirements for flying. The best part of today has been all of you that called and wished me a great journey. The boys and Andi even came over tonight with ice cream and we had a little party. Tomorrow is a busy day with three therapy students and finishing all the rest of my preparations. Pray for the Lord to stretch the time. Blessings.
